The Journey

From the stage to the silicon, and into strategic leadership.

Act I

Harmony & Discipline

My career didn't start at an engineering desk, but on a stage. Spending my 20s as a professional bass player taught me that high-level performance requires more than just talent—it demands relentless discipline, active listening, and the ability to synchronize with a team under the spotlight. When I returned to Telecommunication Engineering, this period had already forged my creative problem-solving skills and taught me a fundamental truth: complex systems, whether musical or technical, only work when every part is in perfect harmony.

Act II

Precision & Complexity

Driven by a deep interest in how artificial intelligence and electronics can seamlessly interact, my technical path began with autonomous systems as an R&D Fellow at the Robotics Group (GRVC-US). This curiosity eventually led me to the CSIC, where I am currently wrapping up my Ph.D. in Micro and Nanoelectronics. My research sits at the intersection of biology and hardware—focusing on mixed-signal neuromorphic systems and event-driven AI architectures. This phase hasn't just been about silicon; it’s been a global journey. Through research stays across Denmark, Italy, and Finland, I’ve had the privilege of sharing synergies within multidisciplinary teams and presenting at international conferences, proving that true innovation thrives on diverse perspectives.

Act III

The Human Factor

After years of R&D, contributing to international projects, and developing advanced computing architectures, I’ve reached a clear conclusion: the most complex and rewarding system to optimize isn't made of silicon, but of people. By integrating my technical depth with robust project management frameworks, I am shifting my focus toward strategic leadership. Whether it is bridging the gap between visionary engineering and market execution, or contributing to the strategic development of Spain’s semiconductor sector through the COIT, my goal is to ensure that technology serves a real purpose and is driven by a human touch.
